We met Jeremy and Dee Dee almost a year ago and have been working with them for their wedding since then. What a cool couple! DeeDee is beautiful and Jeremy is quite a looker, too! Wendhy and I shot this event, and we had a blast. Below are a few of our favorites!

Note: I seem to be having some issues with image quality with the newest update of WordPress. The fuzzy images are due to the compression by WordPress, so click on the image to see the larger, clearer image! Plus you get to see my new plug-in that displays the photo in cool Flash-based pop-up thingamagig!

Technically this one was taken after DeeDee arrived, but I was in the “groomsmen” groove…

DeeDee’s arrival, taken from a “2nd Photographer” perspective. For those brides that I talk about using a 2nd Photographer, this is what I mean… great pics, but from a completely different perspective!

Both of us were shooting from about the same spot for this one, matter of fact I don’t recall which one of us took this actual shot!

An old-photo style processing for this one, PLEASE click to see the larger version, the compression by WordPress really made this one blurry in thumbnail view! :(

After the ceremony, we shot around 1000 pictures at the reception, and they came out great… but I’ve posted too many “party” shots lately so I’m sticking with the wedding-related ones this time!

Las Vegas Wedding Photography is so fun! People get married in Las Vegas all the time. As a Wedding Photographer, I get to see brides and grooms get married in Las Vegas… we tour the Las Vegas Strip… we take photos during the marriage at Chapels and Churches… I get to attend Wedding Receptions and take pictures of guests dancing and having fun. I get to do Engagement Sessions at beautiful locations such as Red Rock, Lake Las Vegas, and other places before the wedding.

Photography in Las Vegas is so different from anywhere else. From the man-made beauty to the vast natural beauty – there’s always something amazing to take photos of.

But my favorite part are the great people.. the brides and the grooms who get married in Las Vegas! Every day I am thankful for being able to be a Las Vegas Wedding Photographer. I enjoy getting feedback from my wedding couples. I love helping to capture the moments and preserving them “for eternity”.

I want my clients to know that every time I snap the shutter, I am thinking about how they will look at the photo years down the road. I truly love my clients and always do my best to make sure they are given more than they expect. I strive to over-deliver for every client… that’s my way to “give back” to them for allowing me to do my “job”, which is more fun than work.

Happy Thanksgiving from Las Vegas Photographer TiffanyG!

I’ve been so lucky lately to have beautiful brides and handsome grooms… and a very fun, photogenic wedding party too!

Marnie and Jorge are a SUPER couple from not-too-far from where I grew up (a couple hour drive) so they had that cool “Midwest” attitude; relaxed and laid-back.

For this one, I was also very lucky to have about 1.5 hours PRIOR to the ceremony, so I was able to be more creative with the group shots. For any brides considering hiring me, I strongly recommend to consider extra time prior to the ceremony, especially if you have a nice area for photos. This also helps you get to your reception sooner, and with the typical Las Vegas Wedding Reception being only 4 hours long, this is important.

Another option is to have me bring one of my great assistants, who can be with the Groom while I’m with the Bride, and then the Assistant Photographer can help set up all the formal shots after the ceremony. For this one, it was just me, but I had plenty of time!

Here’s a great shot of Marnie and her wedding party… aren’t the dresses amazing?!??

Las Vegas Wedding Photos

Typically, with limited time prior to the ceremony, the priority is photos of the bride – but I had time for some really creative poses with the groomsmen!

This one has some extra Photoshop “trickery” that we call “selective focus”. It’s pretty time-consuming but creates a very interesting effect of a very pronounced “pop”, almost a 3-D effect. You’ll want to click this one to see the larger version.

Yeah they were good looking guys, but let’s get back to our beautiful bride! I know I posted a similar shot of Cristina not too long ago, but I do consider this a “signature” shot and this one just had so much great color that I had to post it!

Las Vegas Bridal Photography

This one was one of the last ones I took before the ceremony, Marnie was so relaxed and calm, I think this photo really captured her emotions!

Las Vegas Bridal Photography

Now for after the ceremony.. there’s a funny story behind this shot – In our consultation, one shot that Jorge considered a “must have” was something similar to a photo he saw in my demo gallery where the veil was flowing behind the bride. Luckily, it was windy that day (well, at least on-and-off, right Marnie?); it only took a dozen-or-so attempts over the course of 3 hours to get this one. If you are wondering, nobody was holding the veil (during the shot), that was 100% wind and it took a while to get this veil just right – I’m personally not 100% satisfied with the pose (my fault, I needed to tell Marnie to keep the bouquet a bit lower) – but that’s probably my picky side showing!

Ok, one last one – a fairly common shot, I just liked it and hope that Marnie and Jorge do, too!

I truly enjoyed working with Marnie and Jorge – their patience seemed to have no limitations… they had some trying times before (and a little bit during and after) the wedding… jury duty a week prior… food poisoning the day she arrived in Vegas… and some issues with lights (and security guards) at the reception location – but they never stopped smiling and were really “into” each other – and very easy to photograph!

Well, I’ve finally gotten into the 2000′s and am able to create Flash presentations of my Las Vegas Wedding Photography!

I did a few of them for my previous clients at no charge as samples, and this will be a very inexpensive option for my brides and grooms in the future!

Here’s one I did for Christina and Jeremiah

And another one I did for Aaron and Sarah

I was so excited to be shooting in a big, open Catholic Church – all that natural light, beautiful colors, etc. While hotel chapels are very nice, there’s something to be said about a church wedding! Of course, most churches do not allow flash, so ceremonies can be challenging, too!

A shot I took about an hour before anyone got there – I always arrive early to new locations so I can test out camera settings and “scout” the area. This shot is from a tripod with a long exposure… and by the way, it’s been a while since I reminded my readers that they can click on any photo to see a larger version! Just use your browser’s “back” button to return to the blog):

Isn’t she an absolutely beautiful bride? She was just glowing with excitement!

Limousine Bride in Las Vegas

A photographer can look for years to find such a cute little girl in a perfect (non-posed) pose, a ribbon being tied on her head, with her head tilted, looking right at the camera – and I was lucky enough to capture this brief, non-posed moment. I made several versions of this photo, in color, in B/W, with a vignette… and I provided them all to Dennis and Jessica… but I personally liked this “dreamy” black and white version:

Vegas Bride\'s Daughter

On to the ceremony! I am really having a tough time picking out just a couple shots, but I knew this one had to be included in my blog:

As I scouted the location before the ceremony, I noticed how shiny the floor was and instantly had an idea. I couldn’t wait for when Jessica and Dennis kneeled so I could get this shot:

The First Kiss:

Las Vegas First Kiss

Remember that cutie in the stroller? Well, that’s Jessica and Dennis’ daughter, and just a second after the first kiss, she made her way up to mom and dad to give her congratulations. Dennis’ smile is priceless!

I did follow Jessica and Dennis to their reception at Excalibur, where they had also hired Jeremy (my husband and also a darn good photographer) from D. Jay’s Entertainment to be their DJ. Everyone had a blast, including Jessica. I couldn’t resist posting just one photo from the reception:

Reception Photography

In closing, I wanted to thank Jessica and Dennis. I also thank Dennis, his dad, his groomsmen, and his fellow servicemen and women for their selfless service to our country. It was an honor to meet you.
