Happy Earth Day! I wanted to take a quick moment to let you know what I am doing to stay “Green”.

• I shoot in Digital – No Film, No Negatives, No developing chemicals
• All of my packages include a DVD-Rom of all images
• My packages don’t include a lot of prints, and  my clients can take prints out of their packages and save money
• My sales literature is all in PDF form and is emailed instead of printed and mailed
• My cameras use rechargeable batteries
• I invested over $600 into rechargeable power packs for my flashes instead of going thru 12-16 AA batteries per event.
• In my office, we use very little A/C – temp is set at 82 in the summer and we shut off the system when we’re not there.
• Our main lighting in the office is fluorescent and we are making a switch-over to LED lighting on the spotlights that shine on our demo photos.
• I don’t print “proofs”, all proofing is done online or in the office on the computer screen.
• All of my booking Agreements are emailed in PDF form instead of printed and mailed.
• I limit my paper use – my average booking uses only 2 to 5 pieces of paper.
• I shred paper waste and properly dispose and/or recycle.
