Las Vegas Wedding Engagement Photography with Ricky and Jennifer
I had the pleasure of working with Ricky and Jennifer a couple weeks ago for a 1-hour basic Engagement Session down at Lake Las Vegas. We battled wind and very bright sun the entire time but they were troopers! I think this couple really compliments each other and they seemed to know what each other were thinking (already! Heck it took Jeremy and me 15 years to figure that out!)
As I post this, Ricky and Jennifer haven’t even seen any of the photos yet, so I picked out my 8 favorites and did some work on them. I hope you guys like’em!
This is one of the first photos we took after we found a little shady area. Oh, I forgot to mention they brought their little dog who was SO cute and well-behaved!

This one is small and has man made sand but hey, it’s a beach!

They were wearing such bright colorful clothese that I hated to do much black/white processing but these two shots just begged to be made ‘classic’. This one I added a slight touch of “film grain”, so it would be a bit Casablanca-like.

I am always torn as to which photo is my favorite, but I’m pretty sure this one is… (and no, Ricky, it’s NOT because your face is covered!) The reason is because Jennifer just looks like she’s in Heaven – she’s just SO happy and naturally beautiful!

We ended up with just short of 100 photos in this shoot. I know that’s not as many as I normally get in a 1-hour photoshoot, but there’s a LOT of walking from place-to-place at Lake Las Vegas. Thank you Ricky and Jennifer for allowing me to work with you!
